We managed to grab ourselves some tickets to the biggest gig to come to Norwich. Which were Kids in Glass Houses which consist of 5 young beautiful men with the names of Aled, Joel, Iain, Andrew and Phillip. They had an amazing support act that go by the name of Boys Like Girls which consist more beautiful men with the names Martin, Paul, Bryan and John. With their charm you wouldn’t want to miss a gig like this.
Boys like Girls started the gig off with an electric sound, sounding similar to you me at six, all time low and KIGH. Even with their crazy stunts such as crowd surfing, throwing water, they still got the crowd in an excited mood for the main act, KIGH. They played their most famous hits; The Great Escape, Love Drunk, Heart Heart Heartbreak and they did so many more. You could tell the crowd were getting into the band just from the lead singer (Martin) reaching out to touch the crowd would make anybody’s night. I was lucky enough to get Martin’s used water bottle, I felt so honoured! Overall, I can say that the band are brilliant live and put on a good set. And would love to see these again!
After all that excitement, KIGH made an entrance to the stage! There set was so beautiful they had a draping curtain and flowers scattered across the stage. When the lights darkened, everyone screamed and shout and couldn’t contain their excitement, including me! When Aled (lead singer) said the first line to the song everyone went mental! The band had an incredible set list including their biggest hits such as Give Me What I Want, Undercover Lover and Hunt the Haunted. They have a similar sound to Paramore and You Me At Six, who they have toured with in the past. The buzz they gave to the crowd was amazing, everyone was jumping and singing back and he made sure that everyone single person would remember that night. Overall, KIGH gave it their all and the gig for me personally was incredible and would defiantly see them again! We love you Aled and Martin!
